Hi everyone, I just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON students who are applying for Summer 2017. I didn't see a thread created for this term yet. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin this long journey. Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!
Thank you. I was just worried. I guess I just have to wait, and hope.Yes, I also have this in my portal. When I called in early January to make sure my application was complete, they said that this will remain in my portal until I complete all my "in-progress" classes (I'm in some random classes at TAMU right now). They said it wouldn't effect my application. You probably have it because your transcript indicated that you were currently enrolled in classes. It won't go away until you send them a final transcript at the end of the semester.
Last name is Canales. Seems like it may be alphabetical. And, I did have a transcript eval. Curiously, I am finishing prerequisites at TAMU CS this semester, and I had a green circle in my portal that said complete.
I'm also taking a class currently and my portal says complete. I'm thinking if your transcript didn't show classes in progress at the time you sent it they must put complete.
When I got my denial:angrybird3: for Spring 2017, it came at 5:30p on the deadline of November 15th. I pray we all get in. Congrats to those who have got in, so far! The rest of us, we will get in - have faith!
Does anyone know if they send denial emails or portal updates around the same time, or do they wait until later to do that?
It looks like very few admissions decisions were sent today. My email did not arrive until 5:30, but I saw the change in my portal at 4:15. I immediately went to see if I had an email and did not. It didn't show up until 5:30. Also, everyone who posted an acceptance notification had a last name in the very first few letters of the alphabet--A, B, and C. Pure conjecture, but perhaps that's a pattern. Looks like they made some decisions and had just a couple of hours to start the notification process. My guess is that many more of you will be getting a green check mark tomorrow as they arrive back at the office and work down the list. Looking forward to sharing classes with many of you. Good luck to all!
