Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! Hi guys! For those that started this Spring, how did you go about shot records information & financial aid? Did you start doing that as soon as you accepted or did you wait until after the New Student orientation?

Congratulations, I also got accepted to summer 2016. Is good to see someone in same semester. I just finish with my immunization, background, criminal check, CPR, and etc. How is yours going?

If that helps. I was waitlisted for Spring 2016 but got admission for 2016 summer.

Where did you get your immunizations and titers and if you don't mind, how expensive was that?

I did with student health service. Contact the Student Health Services for corrections to your immunization data.Student Health Services6410 Fannin St. Ste 130 Houston, TX 77030. Telephone [phone]. You should receive an email confirming your admission and giving you details where you can do your immunization. You can do it with your private doctor but I will advice you do it with UTH student health service. I used my private insurance and did not have to pay. You can call them if you need more details. Hey everyone, I've been reading the comments on here for months but I finally decided to join.

I found out yesterday that I got accepted to the Pacesetter program for Fall 2016!

Has anyone else heard?

Just made an account. Last fall, I submitted two applications (pacesetter), for Summer 16 and Fall 16. Today I finally received an email from UTH, telling me to check my admission status on myUTH. Unfortunately I was denied for Summer 16. I'm pretty down about it but not at all discouraged.

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.5

Science GPA: 4.0

HESI: 96 (my score was a 79 on CT section so I will retake the HESI to bring that score up)

I still have the Fall application to wait for but for anyone that has been admitted into the program: what did you do during the waiting process to attract attention from the program? Did you consistently send emails/call the Registrar's Office, or visit the school to try to talk to advisors, or did you have prior medical experience?

Also, does anyone know around what time does UTH let Fall applicants know their admission status?

Hi nursing people! Quick question - Does anyone remember when your orientation day was!? And also what day class started? I am a UT nurse hopeful and I was just wondering on the dates. My family is planning a vacation trip and they are asking if I were to get in around what day I would start.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
