UTHSC Houston - Summer 2016 Applicants

Hey everyone!

I couldn't find a thread for Summer 2016 that was active so I'm starting one here! I am also an applicant for Fall 2016 but I'm applying for both because the deadlines are close and I really want to go here!!

So far I'm taking courses over the summer right now and going to finish my prerequisites this fall. I JUST finished the HESI exam today!!! Hope to hear from all of you soon

Thanks for your help! Turns out it was actually a system error for why no dates were being shown for the correct test, so its fixed now - thank goodness! :)

When I signed up to take the HESI i received my eligibility info and it had dates between 7/1/2015 through 9/30/2015 to register to take the HESI but i was actually planning to take it in november. As of right now, its not showing me any dates past the 9/30 date. Was anyone able to register for an exam for dates after that? I called UT and they said to wait a few days because they should be opening up more timings to schedule the test.

I had to contact elsevier and they said it was an error in their system and it should be fixed now showing an exam option for the dates 10/1/15-12/31/15.

since you already registered for the other dates I would try to cancel that registration and redo it for the available time you need.

Are you currently attending a community college? I'm at San Jac right now and they offer the Hesi A2 with CT. I took it there and then tequested my transcript from elvesier be sent to uthsc and then uthsc received it about 2 weeks later.

What is the code to take HESI A2 with CT? Is it through Elsevier?

Oh pardon me for not being specific. What I meant was how do I register for HESI A2 w/ CT to take exam at San Jac? Will it open all the sections that we are required to test for UTHSC?

Yes. You will have the sections needed for UTHSC. San Jac also includes to biology portion on their test, but you don't have to take if you don't want to.
