Hi,
I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.
Thanks for your comments

Does anyone know how to send your HESI-A2 scores to UTHSC - Houston? Oh, and is there a grade difference if classes were taken at a university rather than a community college?GOOD LUCK for all those applying for Spring 2013! :)
The scores are sent automatically to UTHSC from the prometric testing center site. If you didn't take them at a prometric site, and you took them somewhere else you would have to have that center send them your scores. I also think you have to pay a $15.00 fee to UT for testing somewhere else.
Either way, always call to double check the school received them, prometric site or not.
As far as grades, I would think an A is 4.0, B is 3.0, and so on. I don't think university or community college grades are calculated differently....(not sure).
I just scheduled to take my HESI at the end of this month! Let the studying begin... WE CAN DO IT!
What study guides are you using? I'm taking my test in a few weeks as well... I have not had A&P II (taking it this fall), but I've been going through the chapters over the endocrine system, circulatory system, reproductive system, ect. I'm hoping this will help with the A&P section.
Good Luck!!

When I took the HESI I studied old lab notes and looked over my A&P book focusing on important points of the cardiovascular/renal/endocrine systems (since I had not taken AP 2 as well) The blue HESI was very helpful also. Don't overlook the hint boxes. Questions come from there.
Good luck to all of you!
