UTHEALTH Summer 2020

Hello all,

I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

Hi there! I am waiting until Friday at 6 pm to submit my fall app. =( I feel like my hands are tied on what to do next and I panicked this morning when I realized I still hadn't applied and they still hadn't sent notifications. So I taped a reminder to my door and a phone alert.

I went ahead and submitted mine last night because I was worried I’d forget these next two days. I completely forgot I did that though so when I got a “thank you for applying” as the subject from uth today my heart skipped 10 beats because I thought it was an answer from the Summer app ?

When reapplying, what do we put under HESI ID and when asked under professional question: have you previously applied to a school of nursing? Do we put the dates we applied for UT?

Is it okay to still have items on your to-do list for the fall 2020 application? Even though you have applied for Summer 2020 and all your application items have been received. The advisor said that I don't have to send in my items again since they already have them, just want to make sure it's cleared before the deadline.

I am stuck on that question as well. I am going to go ahead and select yes because I don't want them to think my Summer application was another person with my name.

so it's okay to submit on the 14th? I am working on the app right now but I am really trying to wait so I can prevent from paying another fee LOL

As long as you've submitted your transcripts you're good to go. If you want to make sure it's all set, you could call the school!

I applied for various semesters so whenever I came to that question I always replied that I did apply to nursing schools and I put the month and year of the last application date

OK so I think it's different for current student and applicants but for us there's like a certain times the portal is down for maintenance so I'm not 100% sure if it affects application submissions too but I wouldn't wait until the weekend. Normally they sent decision by 4pm so in my opinion I'd wait until 8pm today and send the fall application just in case. But do what you feel is best for you!

Is the HESI ID the Student ID number on the top right corner of the HESI Report?
