UTHEALTH Summer 2020

Updated:   Published

Hello all,

I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

has anyone heard from uth. Cuz they sent out the decision Summer(2019) on march 5.

The mail I received yesterday was just the course eval. There was literally no info about my fate in it. I camped outside of my mail building for almost 3 hours ??

I think I scared my mail lady

Good luck everyone! Please update as soon as you hear anything and the mode in which you got your information! Thanks!

Still nothing over here. IDK if I should go ahead and put in my application for fall already. /: does anyone else have two applications active?

I'm going to go ahead and start the application. I've heard from a few people that have called advisors and said they confirmed that they won't let us know until the date posted online which is April 15th and they recommended starting another app and that we're allowed to have 2 active.

How do we add an employment that we are currently working at? It asks for an end date however there is no option to input "currently"

I left it blank for the end date!

Why doesn't UTHSC allow us to do immunizations prior to knowing that we have been accepted or not? The ones that they need done are the titers and it usually takes time for the docs to order those vaccines and for you to be tested. Looking at about a month here. They have to check if you're still immune or not. I called the advisor and I'm not getting a very clear answer as to why this is the case.

I actually started doing my immunizations before knowing I was accepted a month before decisions were supposed to be sent out. I only did the ones that many schools needed and when I was accepted I got the ones only UT needed and finally did the titers. You CAN start them.

Does anyone else notice that we don’t have to put the test components on the application anymore? Last time I had to enter my scores for each section..

It was liked that for me when I first started working on my fall application but now that I went back to finally pay for it, it made me enter my scores individually..

I'm confused..my section looks exactly the same as the Summer one did?

Wait so you were able to put what your score was for each section (I.e. math, vocabulary, etc.) like the Summer app? I was saying that I wasn’t able to and that it only allowed me to put in the overall total. But then again I haven’t submitted my fall app yet. I’m waiting till the 14th till I know I have no choice but to apply again ?
