UTHEALTH Summer 2020

Updated:   Published

Hello all,

I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

Is the HESI ID the Student ID number on the top right corner of the HESI Report?

Yeah

OK so I think it's different for current student and applicants but for us there's like a certain times the portal is down for maintenance so I'm not 100% sure if it affects application submissions too but I wouldn't wait until the weekend. Normally they sent decision by 4pm so in my opinion I'd wait until 8pm today and send the fall application just in case. But do what you feel is best for you!

I went ahead and submitted! Better to be safe, thank you!

The other school I applied to just notified me of my acceptance for the fall and UT still hasn’t sent out anything ??. I also submitted my fall application for them earlier this week.

Hello.

Anyone already submitted fall application? I'm wanting to do so before deadline...and still no response.

I highly recommend that you go ahead and apply. I will be applying this evening even without a respoinse. =(

I believe their accelerated program is only a RN-BSN program unfortunately and their traditional program has to be 3 years

I just submitted my application for Fall 2020, Hopefully the to do list will be clear since they have my HESI and transcript from the Summer 2020 application.

that's the only downside of the traditional program, but yes I applied before March 1st for early decision! The deadline is June 1st, however, for the second early decision, the deadline will be on April 1st!!

I have seen on their website that if you have a non-nursing bachelors degree that they have a 12 month ABSN program. But they provide no other information online; you have to enter your info and speak to someone to get details or even find out how to apply
