Hello everyone! 

I've been looking around for a UTH - Pacesetter BSN forum for Summer 2021; haven't found one so I'm going to start one here! This forum is for anyone applying for or just curious about the Summer 2021 application cycle (deadline Jan 15th, 2020). If anyone has any questions, concerns, worries, or anything they'd like to share during the process then you've found the right place! We're here to help each other out. Best of luck!

The course evaluations are sent via regular mail, and not everyone gets one. There were those that got in for Spring 2021 that didn’t get an eval, and there were those that got in that did. So, I wouldn’t worry if you don’t receive one. Not sure why some do and some don’t. Also, I didn’t get any emails or other communication other than when I initially applied with the login information. The next email I got wasn’t until a couple of days AFTER my portal updated to “Conditionally Accepted” (due to outstanding prereqs). 

If you don’t mind me asking what were your stats when you applied ?

So, I’m not sure on the science GPA because when I applied I still have 7 outstanding science credits. I had one B and it happened to be in a science, of course ? Ugh. Anyway, my overall and prereq was something like a 3.96 and I got a 95% on the HESI.

So glad I found this forum! I applied on September 4th and have had anxiety since, LOL. 

My science GPA is 3.5, overall is around 3.4 from what I calculated between two different schools and I made a 95.6% on my HESI. I'm a little discouraged after seeing some stats in this forum ?

First time applying, sent mine in the second week of December. Are we able to apply for the Fall program if we already have a pending application for Summer? Also, has anyone started on their immunizations yet? 

 

Very nervous reading about how they choose applicants. I only took about three classes a semester (a cpl semesters I only took two if they were hard classes like micro and stats) and then four during the Summer since I have two jobs. I hope they don't judge me not taking a full load of classes

My overall GPA is 4.0 and I scored a 90% on the HESI.

I actually applied in early October, and in December I applied to the Fall program. In the app. it did ask if I had applied to a previous semester, so I just said yes and included which semester. Just wanted to play it safe and apply to both as early as possible. And your science GPA is perfect! Don’t think you need to stress about them judging you ? Super super awesome stats too.

Also- in the zoom webinar they instructed us to hold off on any immunizations or certifications until you know you got in. Saves money and possibly even the chance of you needing to get an updated cert. in the future. 

 

 

My science GPA is 4.0 and I made a cumulative score of 95.8 on my exam. Best of luck to everyone!!

I called the school and they told me it should be fine but I'd love to know what they say to you too! LOL

@kdenny sorry it took awhile to get back to you! I just called the school and they said taking version 2 was OK even if it was my first time!

A girl I went to high school with just graduated from there in December. She told me she applied in January and heard back in May for Fall of 2019! Hopefully we hear something back soon. I am so anxious.

I’m so nervous ? I feel confident in my GPA (a 3.78 overall and 3.81 science) but my HESI scares me I got an 85.2 and I thought that was good but seeing everyone else’s I guess not ☹️
