UTHealth Cizik Summer 2021 - BSN

Hello everyone! 

I've been looking around for a UTH - Pacesetter BSN forum for Summer 2021; haven't found one so I'm going to start one here! This forum is for anyone applying for or just curious about the Summer 2021 application cycle (deadline Jan 15th, 2020). If anyone has any questions, concerns, worries, or anything they'd like to share during the process then you've found the right place! We're here to help each other out. Best of luck! 

Hey Y’all! 
I went to the info session today. Some things updated since the last session I went to in January. The competitive score used to be a 80 in EACH section, now it has changed to 85 in EACH section is competitive with a 3.5 GPA on average. Also she said for Summer they received 700-900 applicants and they only look at HESI and GPA. They also said we should hear something back early March. So not much longer. Good luck!

Does anyone know if we reapply to the fall do we have to submit new transcripts? Also for those reapplying in the fall, did you have to use a different email? It won't let me use the same email. Thanks

Today they said you don’t need new transcript if you don’t have new grades you wanted used in your GPA for admission. Are you applying from the ApplyUTH portal you already have access too?

Yes I try to go on apply when Im logged in but it take me back to making an email and password. This it says the email is already in use with an application.

Does anyone know if having a bachelor degree help you out in some reason to get accepted ):

Yesterday they made clear they do not look at prior degrees except for GPA. They only look at scores and grades.

Hi this will be my second time applying. I was denied for fall 2020. If anyone wants my stats I’m more than happy to post them. Good luck to everyone.
