Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME
Hey! Has anybody else not gotten a transcript evaluation yet?
What is the transcript eval? I did not go to the info session so I am kind of lost. My "to-do" list on their portal still has transcripts pending because I am currently taking A&PII and microbiology. Once those grades are posted after finals next week, that finalized transcript will be sent to UTH.
Hey so I had a UTMB question. On NursingCAS it says that two out of my three transcripts have arrived. They told me it can take 7-10 business days after they receive a transcript for it to appear on the website so I was wondering if they received my third transcript yesterday or today am I still ok? Or does it have to be inputted into NursingCAS by today for it to count? I assume it’s possible my transcript reached them today or late yesterday and they just haven’t been able to input it yet but if that’s the case I’m hoping UTMB will still Consider my app. Thank you in advanced!! And sorry once again for this UTMB question on here

Oh ok thank you so much for your response it still gives me hope lol. I believe I need that other transcript to reach the 40 they require to apply. Also if all my transcripts aren’t in can I still fill in the prerequisites on NursingCAS and do the transcript entry? Or can i submit and go back and input the classes after?
You have to put the classes/transcript entry in before you submit the application I believe? I dont think it will let you submit until that's done! But i think that part is due today!
I saw in the Summer 2019 thread that the class is full, so hopefully admissions will be shifting focus to Fall 2019 soon.
Yeah, so bummed I didn't get called. It tells me they absolutely look at overall GPA/transcript. My pre-nursing GPA is a 3.88, my Science GPA is a 4.0, and I got a 92.4 HESI overall with a 100 on the A&P section. I received a Transcript Evaluation for that application cycle as well (still had/have classes in progress). But my overall GPA is a 3.4 because of older classes from years ago. That definitely weighed me down. I feel like since I didn't get in to Summer (the "easiest" time of year), then I realistically have a very slim chance for getting into Fall (the "hardest" time of year). Here's to hoping though!
