UTA Spring 2013

Hello everyone! Just wanted to start this thread for anyone planning on attending UTA's nursing program in the Spring of 2013.....

I am working on the last of my pre-reqs right now at TCC, but I plan on attending UTA this fall to take Intro to Nursing, Patho, and Pharm... Anyone in the same boat???

I emailed my counselor to see if phone calls were happening today and she said yes. That was at 11 this morning. Has anyone else gotten a call today?

I just emailed my advisor and asked if all calls had been made for this round and basically got told they would make calls as positions opened until the first week of January - so basically NO information or help whatsoever! Ugh, this is so frustrating. I guess I'm going to go start applying for jobs now.

So....I got called off the waitlist today!!!!! I was in total shock, especially since the call came in the middle of a meeting at work, but I just knew I should answer that "unknown" number:) I am soooo excited!!!

I was told I would get an acceptance letter in my UTA email - it hasn't come through yet....to anyone called off the wait list, when did you get that official letter? I am being totally paranoid;)

Thanks, kayd21! It was about 2:30p in the afternoon when I was called...don't give up!! This was my 2nd time being waitlisted...it will happen:)

Well I was denied this semester because I was no longer partnered...I will reapply for fall 2013, hopefully I'll get in. It'll be my 3rd time....three times a charm right? Well good luck and keep me updated on your progress.
