UTA Spring 2021 AO BSN/BSN Cohort

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Is anyone else applying this June for the Spring 2021 Cohort, either the AO BSN or the BSN?

I'm currently taking CHEM 1451 and STAT 1308. If I pass these classes all I have left are Path and Pharm. I received a B for Microbiology, so I will be retaking that I think, and most likely CHEM & STAT. I received a C for the HIST 1312 US History since 1865, I took it at UTA, if I retake it at my local community college can I ask to replace the grade? Additionally, does anyone know if an Associate's in Science counts as a previous degree?

Don't forget!

  • Check your vaccinations! Start getting them squared away now! Especially the Hep B titers.
  • If you're from outside the US and have had the BCG vaccine, you will need the T-Spot or QuantiFERON blood test (which you probably already knew).
  • TEAS should be taken no later than 4/1/2020 (per the advisor).

Application deadline is June 1st!

Thanks, I'll look into TWU as well.

I spoke to their advisor before, you could be competitive with 87% and GPA=3.5. Of course, it is not fixed and change from year to year and I believe those are their minimum scores. one thing about TWU that they don't have an accelerated program. their nursing program is two years.

I saw this previously.

waw! I thought they are taking much higher numbers for TEAS! My GPA is 3.88 but the TEAS is 78 ! I wish I can apply !!

Those are the averages. Either of applicants or those accepted.

I am applying my GPA isn't super high. I need to take patho, pharm intro and technical writing I think. I have a previous Bachelor's and Masters. I also took the TEAS when I was gonna apply to a program in Oklahoma but were moving back to Texas.

My GPA=3.83, science GPA=4, and I have a master degree. my points should be 8.32. I wish this will be enough for me to get accepted there. I'm taking patho this Summer.

Are you applying for BSN AO or on campus BSN?

BSN AO

Your total points is pretty high, you're guarantee to get in I am sure.

Is anyone in this forum taking Pathophysiology with *********** this Summer?

I wish! I'm seeing here people with points starting from 9! I don't want to go to a private university ?

Do anyone know the average points for the accepted students in AO BSN last semester/years?
