UTA Spring 2021 AO BSN/BSN Cohort

Published

Is anyone else applying this June for the Spring 2021 Cohort, either the AO BSN or the BSN?

I'm currently taking CHEM 1451 and STAT 1308. If I pass these classes all I have left are Path and Pharm. I received a B for Microbiology, so I will be retaking that I think, and most likely CHEM & STAT. I received a C for the HIST 1312 US History since 1865, I took it at UTA, if I retake it at my local community college can I ask to replace the grade? Additionally, does anyone know if an Associate's in Science counts as a previous degree?

Don't forget!

  • Check your vaccinations! Start getting them squared away now! Especially the Hep B titers.
  • If you're from outside the US and have had the BCG vaccine, you will need the T-Spot or QuantiFERON blood test (which you probably already knew).
  • TEAS should be taken no later than 4/1/2020 (per the advisor).

Application deadline is June 1st!

previous bachelors

I plan on applying for the Spring 2021 cohort- AOBSN

Science GPA : 3.75

Overall: 3.35

4 Considerations

Bachelors/ Masters degree

Military Veteran

30 Credits at UTA

12 Science credits at UTA

Total =9.1

I am! Science GPA 4.0, Over 3.9. Previous Bachelor's. After finishing my other prereqs I should be looking at 8.3-8.4. I am getting nervous about missing my window to take the TEAS. I took the HESI last year and was hoping it would count. But I had an apt to take the TEAS this Saturday, but they closed the testing center. So now I am scrambling to find another site to take it!

I am also applying June for AOBSN 2021. I will be taking Patho and Intro. to Nursing this Summer. Pharm and Family Legacy this fall. My science GPA is 3.75 and my overall GPA is 3.9 and I am also partnered. Keeping fingers crossed.

Does anyone know what is going on with the TEAS testing?

I called UTA to ask about that, I pretty much got a “ play it by ear” response

Ughhh. Thanks. I hope they figure out something

I'm afraid too, their standards look ambiguous for me,

Overall GPA 3.8 hope to make it 3.86 this semester.

Science GPA 4

Considerations:

Bachelor/Master degree.

So my total points are 8.36. I took the TEAS and got the required score.

Hey guys, what do I use to access canvas at UTA? I decided to start the intro to Nursing class but when I use the email address associated with my actual name versus my student id it doesn't work, but I don't know what the email with my id is supposed to look like. Thanks!
