Is anyone else applying this June for the Spring 2021 Cohort, either the AO BSN or the BSN?
I'm currently taking CHEM 1451 and STAT 1308. If I pass these classes all I have left are Path and Pharm. I received a B for Microbiology, so I will be retaking that I think, and most likely CHEM & STAT. I received a C for the HIST 1312 US History since 1865, I took it at UTA, if I retake it at my local community college can I ask to replace the grade? Additionally, does anyone know if an Associate's in Science counts as a previous degree?
Don't forget!
Application deadline is June 1st!

Most or all classes we take over the Summer semester will not be use for the ranking purpose that's why we're required to finish all the 4 science by the application dateline. Years back, they used to accept 2 or 3 science and they let you finish the rest before starting the upper division nursing. Not anymore!
It is in September for real! It is mentioned in their admission checklist. you can see it here :

I'm matking it. I even got the book!but now after knowing that the decisions in September I will withdraw it tomorrow! I got accepted in Concordia already and we should start in 8/24. knowing that these decisions will come in September, I can't wait for it especially the acceptance is not granted!! God How frustrating is this!

So sorry about that. I completely understand your frustration, but I thought your points are like a 9.5 or something like that. If your points are that high, you should be guaranteed acceptance in the program.

I wish they are ! my points are 8.33, so the admission won't be granted ! people higher than me in the last cycle and they were wait listed.
In addition, till they get the decisions, even if I get accepted, I will be in school already. Changing the schools will be a big mess, especially they won't transfer any nursing course from there. in addition, transferring the student loan won't be easy.

8.33 Still a great point. You will be more competitive for campus based rather than the AO BSN. Is true the AO BSN sometimes wait list people with 8 points. They gives more priority to partnered applicants.

I really don't know what to do! if I don't go to Concordia, I might not be accepted in UTA even the traditional and I will lose the whole year! and if I get accepted I will be there in the clinical stage and maybe taking tests, they have also accelerated program there. So the shifting will be a mess, even the loan I will need for Concordia I won't need that much money for UTA.
if the campus-based is not that competitive compared to the AO , I might apply for it, and wait. it will be a big mess really, but UTA deserves it! hope it will be the right thing to do!

I can assure you, most people that get accepted right away are people with 9 points, the next in line are students with 8 points. But, it is important to know that the accelerated online is highly competitive unless you are partnered. Traditional campus based is less competitive. You will get in with 8 points.

I decided to apply anyway even though I only have 3 out of the 4 sciences done. Oh well, guess I'll be automatically denied because of that. This sucks!
