Hello,
I just wanted to check in and see if anyone has received acceptance or any kind of notification into the ONLINE FNP Academic partnership for the April 7th start!
Thanks
I have friends that have done the traditional FNP and work three 12 shifts and said it is manageable but I am eager to her the experiences of the students starting this month. I am to start June 30th and I am really looking foward to the feedback regarding this program since it is so new.
Yea i know. I already printed out stuff, and wrote down the dates and everything. I am nervous too. I think this class will be okay. I am worried about the fall. I am taking patho and theory & research together both being 10 week courses. Good luck to everyone. My course map is a little different then everyone's but I will be graduating the same time those doing the 2 course at a time are.

Did you see ldawn's post earlier in this thread where she talks about how crazy busy she was during patho?
I honestly don't know how they expect people to do two classes at once, especially the more difficult ones. Maybe others are better at time management than I am. I just know that if I'm too busy, I won't really learn as much. I'll just regurgitate information for tests and it won't stick.
Hi! I'm new to this thread, I am starting the FNP program in August. I am currently in the 10 week course Theory & Research Application class. (I was in the MSN/ADMIN program and just transferred into the FNP program) I was able to take all the courses that are required for both. I just wanted to let you know that the 10 wk. Theory and research class is much easier than any other graduate class I have taken so far. I am in week 6 (break week). To be able to qualify for financial aid I have to take 2 classes per semester but only 2 semesters require me to take 2 classes at one time.
The transfer from the MSN/ADMIN. to the FNP program has been a good experience with UTA. I got my BSN online from UTA as well. I would have to say that the Masters level 5 week research class has been the hardest class for me so far.
I am so glad to have found this thread. I look forward to see how everyone does in this program. Also, would love to hear more about Advanced Pathophysiology as people are taking it.
