UTA ONLINE FNP APRIL 7th Start

Yea I read her post. She was taking the research class with Patho. I am actually taking research alone. I will be taking the research & theory class with Patho. And now that cecruise said that was the easiest class she has taken thus far makes me feel a little bit better. I work as a manager in a derm clinic and have a lot of down time. So the good thing is I will be able to do a lot of school work at work. :-). Who all is taking the research class starting May 19? I know we have a group project due in wk 4.

There is a place that actually says drop classes in the top area of your my mav.. Has anyone heard anything about tthe 4000 scholarship and when it will be posted to our accounts?

Have you already been accepted cecruise? I applied in March for September and haven't heard back yet. Do you think it was a faster process for you since you were already in the Admin program?

My scholarship and also the partnership discount were applied today. I had called and left a message for the Bursar's office and they replied with this:

I received your voice mail in regards to a scholarship and pricing for your FNP program. I do show you are eligible for the scholarship and the reduced pricing. After they have been applied you will see the change on your account. You can view your account activity and balances due on your MyMav student center. From your student center home page choose account activity from the drop down menu that shows other financial… You will see all charges, payments, scholarships, etc applied to your account. Unfortunately our office does not apply the scholarship or the pricing code. I see that you have paid in full for the class that starts on Monday… You do not have another payment due until June 28, 2014, but the amount due should not be $1962. After the pricing code is applied and the scholarship you will owe considerably less. Hopefully both will be applied today. Please log onto your MyMav student center and view your account later today.

I applied in Feb for the June start...went to speak with them a couple days ago and they said they would not make decisions for any start date until after the deadline for all supporting documents for that period had passed..in my case they would not make any decisions for acceptance until after the deadline for supporting docs (May 30th) had passed...which mean for June 30 start they would not notify until around June 15th...I SOOOOOO wish it were a sooner notification because 2 weeks to get prepared mentally and financially is not a lot of time!!!! But I will do whatever is necessary to get in! Good luck to you in September!

For those of you that started in April, how have you found the program so far?? I'm getting a little nervous about starting next month and was hoping to get some feedback on how 2 classes at a time was going to affect my life!!!

Did anyone else's student loans not get disbursed on Friday? Been trying to call financial aid all morning and it is busy since 8:02.

How is class so far? Are you working full time? I applied for the June start date. Won't hear about acceptance till mid June I was told. Ready to start but nervous it is going to take all my summer away from kids.
