UTA ONLINE FNP APRIL 7th Start

hey chris! i also am anxiously awaiting the decisions for the june 30 start. a friend of mine from work started in the first cohort and she says its pretty demanding but doable so far...deadline for supporting docs is friday so we could possibly be expecting news anytime monday or after...did you do BSN at UTA? i just graduated there in may from rn to bsn program...

So far class isn't bad. I am working full time and taking one class right now. Basically you have 2 discussions boards due every friday, you have to respond to 2 students per discussion board by every Sunday and a quiz every Sunday. Next week we have a 15 page concept analysis paper due, week 4 we have a group project due (powerpoint) and week 5 there is another small paper due, and that's it. After week 1 I am sitting with a low A...The quiz wasn't timed and it was 10 questions. Hope this information helps.

Pink-Have your loans disbursed? I keep getting the run around with financial aid. Every person tells me something different. It's driving me crazy. I need my money...lol

I'm taking only research. I started looking at the material/assignments a week before start date. I stayed ahead and by the second week I was comfortable to start working, but my priority was still class work. It is doable, stay on top of it!

That's what they originally tolld me. But yesterday they informed me it's not on their end it's on the government's end...which i doubt, but I know as of 6:30 this morning I still dont have it. I need it for otehr things. They keep saying well we can get your books. I dont need it for my books. I need it to take care of my family. Sheesh.

I recently applied for the program and I am curious if there was any number of students they accept and what type of GPA everybody got in with. I currently have a 3.4gpa and 4 years of experience and am curious if everybody got in with high gpa's.

It depends on your start date...they started with only 35 students and are increasing the number by about 20 with each start date...I applied for June 30 start and I think they are accepting between 80-90 students...the august start will probably have 100-110ish, and so on...I haven't heard what their eventual cap will be.
