I noticed there is no thread for those of us that will be applying to UTA On campus BSN program for Fall of 2017. Feel free to reply to this post if you are considering applying so we can keep in touch.
Hey guys! I'm applying for Fall 2017 for both the on-campus & accelerated online programs as well. I graduated from Texas Tech last December so I'll be working on my 2nd degree, but I've always wanted to be a nurse! I'm gonna be taking Intro to Nursing, Pharmacology, and Technical Writing (hopefully...there's been some issues with getting some of my coursework transferred) online this Spring if anyone who lives in Houston wants to start a study group or something! Is anyone else taking those classes online this semester??
We can support each other! I'm in pathophysiology and pharmacology as intro to nursing too! I believe we can do it!
All three at once??? Intro to Nursing shouldn't be bad, but I've heard Patho and Pharm are killer....
Also were you saying you thought you knew me or someone else? I tried to respond to your post, but my computer freaked out & ended up posting it as a new post at the end of the chain so I ended up changing my comment since it made no sense where it was lol
I just ordered it from Amazon last night. I got it new cause those dang access cards are expensive!! The only thing is that some of the Amazon reviews said that a few of the chapters were missing.......but the few people that said chapters were missing each listed different chapters......comforting right?!?
So I figured I'd get the book early & look through it REALLYYYY carefully & if any chapters &/or pages were missing I'd return it. I have Amazon prime so I have free 2 day shipping & free returns so I guess I'll just keep doing that until I get a book with ALL the chapters/pages lol
It sucks, but it was the cheapest place I could find it w/ the access code & reviews, & whenever I get something without reviews I get screwed over. Where'd you get your book from?

OMG!! TCU is soooo expensive. $122,000 for the program! No way. I'd rather wait until I get into UTA. My backup plan is work until I get in.
