I noticed there is no thread for those of us that will be applying to UTA On campus BSN program for Fall of 2017. Feel free to reply to this post if you are considering applying so we can keep in touch.
It have to be put like this. NURS 3309, Spring 17, UTA
@bsnchrisrn since I took most of my classes at dcccd, do I have to put the course code? Because the course codes are different from UTA. I already turned in my application but I can still edit it before the 15th if needed. Like Gov2306 is Texas government I filled it in as "Texas government."

Yes, You still have to put the course code and description.... sooo for exp.. Nurs 3352, Fall 16, DCCCD
I would check with the advisor before you spend unnecessary money, because for my degree plan they took my ethics class as an elective.
UTA will only take upper division electives related to nursing...
For the Nursing Upper Division Elective you can takeany of the following courses:
NURS-EL 3300 Cooperative Nursing Work Experience INURS 4300 Cooperative Nursing Work Experience IINURS 3352 Legacy of the Family
For the General Upper Division Elective you can take:
NURS 3309 Medical Terminology or a2nd Nursing Upper Division Elective

I would still check with an advisor if you are already coming in with a degree, because they accepted my ethics class in place of nursing 3309. I would have an advisor personally evaluate your transcripts and update your nursing degree plan before you take classes you don't need. All you have to do is email your advisor with your student I.D. number and ask them to update your degree plan, so you know what you still have to take.
I am to TCU as well, I don't even need anymore pre-reqs to get into their program as I do for UTA. I am fine with either school, I think UTA has higher NCLEX pass rate, I may be wrong though.
Okay. I will be applying to Texas a&m commerce and two other Adn programs. My first choice is UTA!
