Hi everyone, so i decided to go ahead and open up a forum for the 2018 spring start date. I know it might be early but hey everyone including me will have questions and become quite worried on getting in.
Its more hospital entities Krey208, each semester the advisor can send you out which hospitals in each entities will be offering clinical rotation spots. But it doesn't matter if it is a hospital you actually work out or not. Like I am HTPN employee (Baylor Scott and White) but I work in a clinic and not hospital but they are offering clinical's for spring 2018 Wise Regional, Baylor University Medical Center and Carrollton Baylor Medical Center.
Varies each academic session. It is completely based on what hospital is participating each session. Here is the list we received in Spring 2018.

Brandon, that's amazing I*t* takes a lot of selflessness to think about your family first. After all this is why you are doing this to begin with. I'm was placed on the UTA waitlist but Brookhaven ADN accepted me. And after doing all the calculations I'm gonna be spending about $9k+ less at Brookhaven (16 month no break) then I'll do the ADN to BSN bridge at UTA in less time also.
Brandon,Which school are you going to? I am also considering an ADN program but I am skeptical of some of the schools I have looked into.
Thanks
I was accepted to 3 ADN programs...Alvin, San Jac, and Blinn. Alvin and San Jac are somewhat local to me, but San Jac was my last choice. Blinn would also require a move, but that's where I earned my first associates degree and my wife graduated from their nursing school 17 years ago.
I teach CPR daily and most of my students are either nurses or nursing students, so I learn a lot about all the various nursing schools. My wife also hears a lot working at the hospital, so I knew which schools to avoid. All that being said I chose Alvin. They were the most responsive during the application process and I've talked to dozens of people that have been through their program.
Good Morning! I am just getting started on this journey and want some advice from the experts I have a bachelors in education, so I just received my degree plan eval and need AP1 and 2, Micro, and 2 psychs. Also, technical writing. Can anyone give me any advice about which of these can or should not be taken together :) ANY help would be appreciate... and good luck to all of you!
