UTA BSN Online Spring 2019

Published

Hey everyone!

Just curious as to how many of us are applying to UTA's AO BSN for Spring 2019.

I'm planning on applying, but scared that I might not get accepted the first time.

Overall GPA should be roughly 3.06, Science GPA 3.75. 3 considerations.

I had an advising appointment earlier this week, and she said if I retake History (made a D), it would better my chances, but I am considered 'highly competitive' with my 3 considerations.

Specializes in Pediatric Hem/Onc.

I just got my acceptance e-mail for the AO program!!! :D

I got mine too!!!

Question though....where is InPlace to upload immunization info?

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I am currently on the waitlist, but hopefully a spot opens up

I was accepted as well! I did not see any instructions in the email regarding InPlace either. I wonder if we will be getting a second email after we submit the acceptance form?

Ya there were many of us confused about that, I got in contact with a lady in the AO BSN dept and she said there was an error in the attachments in the emails. She said they will send it Monday with a new deadline.

Great! I tried contacting yesterday and haven't heard back. Good to know it was just an error.

I was chosen for the waitlist. I am pretty bummed but, everything happens for a reason. :)

Hi! I know most of you guys are already accepted, or have decided on another school. But i'm not really confident on my chances of getting int UTHealth, but I have had my eye on UTA.

What are the average stats for acceptance into this program? My GPA is not the best but I do plan on retaking classes. I just want to be able to have a backup plan but I want to be prepared just in case UTA is just as competitive as UTH.

I'm still an undergrad with no previous degree (i'm 20). I do plan on working in a hospital soon as a CNA bc I just got my license.

In my opinion working at a partner facility gives you the best chance. That is kind of hard though because UTA's partner facilities change each semester. Personally, I applied to the online and on campus programs with a science GPA of 3.8 and overall GPA of 3.3. I had two considerations (took all sciences at UTA and took 30 hours of undergrad at UTA) as well as being partnered. I was accepted to both programs. Everything totally depends on your application pool. Good luck!!

Congrats everyone! I created this board, got a new computer, and couldn't log back in to update yall because i forgot my login info! I was accepted to the AO and campus programs, and accepted the AO!

How do we know which will be the partner facilities?
