Hey everyone!
Just curious as to how many of us are applying to UTA's AO BSN for Spring 2019.
I'm planning on applying, but scared that I might not get accepted the first time.
Overall GPA should be roughly 3.06, Science GPA 3.75. 3 considerations.
I had an advising appointment earlier this week, and she said if I retake History (made a D), it would better my chances, but I am considered 'highly competitive' with my 3 considerations.
You can email [email protected] and they will give you what they have currently, it's hard to predict what the facilities would be for your particular cohort but I noticed there are quite a few that are consistently on there.
Which ones were consistent and located in houston? I'm gonna go ahead and shoot them an email tomorrow. I hope they're good at replying to emails
Also, the Facebook page called UTA CONHI has been a great resource for me lately and I wish I would have found it sooner. You have to ask to join and usually the admin will approve you quickly (I answered I'm an online student for all the questions). There are people from all different cohorts on there that can probably give you advice too.
I have a 4.0 in everything and had no considerations. I was accepted to the on campus but wait-listed for the online. I think being partnered is everything! I'm not partnered and I'm pretty sure that's why I got waitlisted for the online. From what I've heard from other students only partnered students get in to the AO program. Good luck!
I was accepted for on-campus and wait-listed for online. I accepted on-campus.
--No considerations (did all my basics at community college)
--Not partnered
--4.0 overall GPA
--4.0 science GPA
--87 overall on the TEAS exam (you just have to pass, but TEAS scores are not considered in the ranking process)
Good luck to you!
@AmberMH,
I was accepted for the online Spring 2019 program!
My stats are
4.0 science GPA
3.88 overall GPA
and no considerations.
Not partnered. Have faith! I was pulled off of the waitlist along with several others with lower points than me, about a month after the inital acceptance letters were sent out.
