  1. I was accepted into the AO and on campus program. I my total score, including 3 considerations, was a 8. I am not partnered. I would say that you have a chance at getting in, for sure. I was almost positive that I would only get into the on campus program, IF ANYTHING, because it's so competitive. best of luck to you!! :)
  2. Congrats everyone! I created this board, got a new computer, and couldn't log back in to update yall because i forgot my login info! I was accepted to the AO and campus programs, and accepted the AO!
  3. Have y'all taken exam 4 yet? I'm getting ready to in the next hour or two & im so nervous! I never had test anxiety until this class! Lol
  4. Patho is rough. I understand the material so well. But these tests are killer. How are y'all doing?!
  5. Amber, Those stats look great to me, especially with the 4.0! I'm sure we will be in Patho together this summer!
  6. I'm not partnered, unless they decide to add UT Southwestern to the list. I do have 3 extra considerations though.
  7. 81.3% overall, considered "advanced" range. I want to schedule an appointment with an advisor at UTA & TWU (second choice school) to see if that score is competitive enough.
  8. Thanks so much!! I'm taking it today at 11am!
  9. I'm taking it the first time this weekend, and I've been studying my butt off for the science portion. Any advice for any of the sections? Do they allow you to use a basic calculator for math?
  10. Hannah, Apparently Patho is recommended before Pharm. All of my nurse friends have told me this, and I confirmed with the BSN advisor that this is true. Just a heads up. :) I just registered for Patho this summer with Dev. Psych and Pharm and Stats this fall.
  11. The clinicals are done at area hospitals, and students have access to the SMART Hospital on campus. :)
  12. The BSN Application deadline for Spring is June 1. You can find all of the deadlines and required courses on UTA's BSN website. As far as I know, you can complete all prerequisites at a community college, with the exception of Patho and Pharm. They do give extra consideration to those who take a certain amount of general hours at UTA, and a certain amount of Science hours at UTA.
  13. Hannah- I'm not sure how many applicants they accept each year. I would be interested in finding out, though. Is your 3.6 GPA overall, or science? What courses are you currently taking at UTA, and what are you planning on taking this summer & fall?
  14. Have any of you taken statistics yet? I'm REALLY dreading this course. Just found out that all of our tests will be proctored, either on campus (not convenient for an online student) or online through some proctoring service for $20-$30 per test. I was enrolled this semester, but dropped and replaced with sociology. I'll either be pairing it with Patho or Pharm this summer or fall. Anyone who has taken this course at UTA.... advice is welcome!
  15. Hi Amber! Yes, they're listed under NURS-UL. I'll be taking patho this summer!
