UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

Published

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

Chichi89-----No problem, I just found someone at UTA, literally, right after I asked you! :) Yes, my advisor did confirm that MV and BH are the only schools that faculty has approved a "Transfer In" for Patho and Pharm. It's soooo much cheaper!

Bjsmomakarn17_ oh really? Are you taking pharmacology online at Mountain view this semester?

No, I am taking both Pharm and Patho in the spring.....then I will have completed all of my Lower Division courses.

I believe we are both taking the same Micro Online, is this correct?

Bjsmomakarn17.......I don't think so. I am taking microbiology hybrid class at Mountain view at the moment.

Has any of you taken Chemistry yet? I am thinking of taking General Chemistry this Wintermester is just 4 weeks and I am so scared about it. I took A&P 1 and 2 in the summer for 4 weeks each and I made A's on those. But I don't know about Chemistry. What do y'all think?

I have just completed my on line application for general admission and was looking forward to starting the fall on line session- I have my Associates already - as a CMA- so I am hoping a few of my courses will transfer in (fingers crossed)- anyone else possibly looking at part time due to work/financial conflicts??

Online. You can take Patho and Pharm at Mountain view and take the elective at UTA. So far it's not that bad.

How would that work with fin aid?

How would that work with fin aid?

Oh yeah that's true! I didn't think of the fin aid

Chichi89-If you can, take Chem with Dr. Deng(DCCCD) you should do fine, I received an "A" in the course, that is Only if you don't need it as a consideration for UTA.

FutureNurseV_ -Hello, I understand you are taking Micro with Dr. Frederick, can you email me please? I have some questions if you don't mind. galartey at yahoo .com

He is not teaching Chem 1411 this coming Spring. So I will be taking it at Mountain View for wintermester with another professor. Thank you though.
