UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

I am currently in the enrollment process for Fall 2017! I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry completed just this year. I have completed all my prerequisites for the program, however, I am nervous about enrolling in this online program... should I be? I am planning to take the nursing prerequisites offered by UTA. I am worried that I will pay for these classes and not be accepted into the program. Since I will pay out of pocket for the classes. Can anyone comment on the acceptance rate? I appreciate any feedback you all can give me.

Hey!

Does anyone know what GPA should be around to be accepted? I think my science is 3.0 and overall is 3.2

I have all classes except intro, patho, pharm, and upper elective. I start intro Nov 7.

Applying for fall 2017 both on and off campus.

I dont think my GPA is very competitive:(

I'm having the same concern right now...since I'm paying out of pocket, I'm afraid to take the nursing prerequisites at UTA and not get accepted.

i got in only after 2 tries.... everyone gets in, might as well start with their prerequisites so you can get used to the format

Hi, has anyone got into the program with a low science GPA? I am applying to the online program, I already have a Bachelors degree but Its been a very long time since I took my sciences and I really don't want to take them over.

I have 3.0 :(

I have no UTA classes, not partnered, and no previous degree. I am also paying out of my pocket and start INtro Nov 7! So scared too that I will pay for these 3 and not get in!

Anyone taking Patho and Pharm together???

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and this is actually my first post here. I will be applying for the Fall of 2017 on campus and online program. I am a bit sceptical about completing an online nursing program. For those of you that have, how was your experience? And I am also planning on taking Intro to nursing, elective course and Government 2306 all in the summer. How difficult is Introduction to nursing?

This Semester I am taking English 1302, Microbiology, Technical writing, History 1302 and Pharmacology at dcccd. For the spring of 2017, I will also be taking 5 classes. In the summer I will complete my last 3 courses; Intro to Nursing, elective course and Texas Government. Please let me know how intro to nursing and the elective course was for you.

Have you checked if UTA will accept your pharmacology from DCCD? I believe they require you to take it at their campus or at another university, not a community college. I would hate for you to spend the time and money and then they don't accept it.

I have a 3.75 but I'm not partnered or have a previous degree either. I honestly have no idea what entrance GPAs look like for UTA.
