UT Tyler BSN Fall 2017

Hello Guys!! I recently applied to the Accelerated BSN at UT Tyler and do not get accepted so I am going to try for the tradition BSN fall 2017. Is anybody in the same boat or just applying to the tradition BSN?

Luckily, if anybody fails that was admitted they can still retake it in the summer if need be. If their continuance request is granted that is. However I would think if someone made above a 75 on the first three tests that they wouldn't totally bomb the rest of them.

i think it would be hard for anyone to get accepted then have to take patho and concepts in summer school

I would hope for the fairness to other applicants and the integrity of the program, that anyone initially accepted but ultimately fails, is not allowed another opportunity until the next application period for Spring.

no, it's only been 4 weeks since deadline. all indications is that they will wait 6-8 weeks to send out decisions

Did anyone else receive an appointment notice from Tammie Cooper? I just received the email but it said the appt was for 2/21 10minute block for program review.

I will contact Tammie tomorrow but was hoping someone else received one too...didn't want to be the anomaly.

I haven't, I wonder if she meant 3/21. I know that you have to sit down with the advisor before nursing school starts if accepted. I hate reading into it much but maybe it means something.

That would be awesome. I was thinking it was activated when someone accessed/reviewed my online application. I'm liking your line of thinking but even so 3/21 is still before our Test 3 in Patho. Hhmmm....

Wondering if anyone heard back from Tammie Cooper about that email that was sent for the appointment but had a weird date with the 10 min block.

I just checked my email and I received one on Monday with an appointment for feb 9th?? Weird and now makes so super nervous!

I'm really thinking its when they accessed our applications. A means to keep track of everyone and who needed to be reviewed still.
