Hello Guys!! I recently applied to the Accelerated BSN at UT Tyler and do not get accepted so I am going to try for the tradition BSN fall 2017. Is anybody in the same boat or just applying to the tradition BSN?
The patho instructor said today that they are waiting until after test three to make decisions.
I know the wait for test three specifically applies to Tyler campus. Before spring break, the instructor said grades had already been submitted to Palestine and Longview so they may have already started their selection process. However, they could factor in test three like Tyler is and ask for new grades.
Long story short...no matter what campus...I wouldn't expect to hear anything until the end of the first week in April.
I'm just don't think it's Fair. They said within 8 weeks and I feel like they should stick with that for those who are coming from out of town they need to be able to know what they're going to do next semester. Also, the first time I applied I hadn't even taken patho or concept yet I was still in A&P2. When I got accepted I signed up for patho and Concepts in the summer. So what about those people they get in because they haven't taken it yet and there's no third test to judge. Also what if you're failing after the third test but you still have a chance with the fourth test and the final to bring it up to passing. I think they should just judge off what you've turned in on the application and if you haven't passed patho and concepts by the time fall comes then you lose your spot.
Received this class announcement today:

I applied for the traditional BSN nursing program at UT TYLER as well. Read all the comments to try and relieve some of my anxiety but seems like we're all in the same situation. I also got a weird email from my advisor making an appointment for feb. 14th. and it's march so idk.
