UT Tyler BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hello Guys!! I recently applied to the Accelerated BSN at UT Tyler and do not get accepted so I am going to try for the tradition BSN fall 2017. Is anybody in the same boat or just applying to the tradition BSN?

Is the suspense killing anyone else? I hate that it takes up till the end of March to know something. That doesn't leave alot of time to think about other options.

So a page or so ago, someone said that they'll be considering the first 3-4 patho test as well, we'eve had 2 so far, how's everyone doing?

I'm doing okay so far. Found the sweet spot on my study routine so I expect Test 3 to be a higher A.

I think they are going to wait until after test 3 even though it's just after the 8 week guideline someone else posted.

I am very much hoping I get in this semester since it is the only program I applied to.

I spoke with the advisor a week ago. She emailed because they are reviewing applications and needed a piece of info. She said they are currently making selections and it will be either spring break or the week right after it when they mail out letters. I did ok on my first Patho test I made an 86. On my second test I was able to change my studying after knowing how they test and made a 92 so hopefully I will do better next test.

Anybody know when registration opens for the summer? If I get in I need to take patho and pharm before Fall

For summer they won't open or release the approval code until after letters go out. Last year the advisor said they control those classes and that the make sure there is enough room for the ones accepted to the program.

Thanks! That's reassuring.

I didn't know we could take pharm this summer?

Tonya - I would take the contact from advising as a good sign that you are wanted/in. I am sure many more people than available seats applied. As such, if they are contacting you for information, they must want you! Otherwise, I would surmise they would consider your application incomplete and remove you from consideration.

Good luck and hope this works out for you!

I'm not sure that you can

Pharmacology is not offered during the summer.
