UT Tyler BSN Fall 2017

Hello Guys!! I recently applied to the Accelerated BSN at UT Tyler and do not get accepted so I am going to try for the tradition BSN fall 2017. Is anybody in the same boat or just applying to the tradition BSN?

Wondy- that is what I was hoping but you never know with them honestly. I am so nervous though since it's the only program I applied to.

Futureutbsn- I guess I do if you want to consider an associates in general studies a degree. I took to long to figure out what I wanted to do I ended up finishing my basics before deciding.

do you live in Longview or will you be moving there? If I get accepted I'll be moving from Houston. I looked up some apartments in the area but I'm just trying to get a feel for what's a good choice for the area.

I live in a small town called Gladewater about 20 minutes from it. You kind of want to stay on the north side of town kind of by the school. Pretty much on the north side of Highway 80.

Patho instructor just told us that she has requested that the Tyler campus hold off on applicant decisions until after Test 3. She hasn't received confirmation but said the board is considering it.

She said Palestine and Longview programs have already requested grades for decision making. She said if you applied to Longview or Palestine that grades for Test 1/2 have been submitted.

She said we have to pass ads patho and concepts to be accepted. So students who are accepted now may be excluded at course end.

She means that if after admission to the program next month, that if you do not ultimately pass patho or concepts, then you will not be admitted to the program in the fall. They will drop you and give your space to someone who was waitlisted.
