UT Southwestern GN Internship

Hi All,

Just submitted my application to UT Southwestern's GN internship program beginning in July 2015. Hoping for the critical care or ER track. Has any one else applied? Will they be hiring more applicants this year due to their new facility? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi , I applied to the Med/Surg GN residency and am waiting to hear back about whether or not I am selected to be interviewed. I am from the Midwest. does anyone know how much UT likes to hire out of state candidates and does anyone know about what kind of candidates they usually hire - BSN? GPA? How much experience? anything helps!!

I have too...but from what I understand, the unit managers are going through applications now. I think it will be another week at the least before we hear anything!

Well everyone in my class who applied for the L&D one already got denial letters saying they're not even considering us for an interview.. So yeah lol

But we haven't heard anything about Med/Surg yet!

Not really, but lived around that area off and on throughout my life! Currently in East Texas. I think that's why nobody in the Dallas area is even considering interviewing me yet :(
