I have also been put on a waiting list. I got an email today, I replied asking how many were on the list ect....Good luck to those that got in.

Sorinrae77, Thank you for that. You made me cry but a good cry. Well good luck to both of us and you're right...He does have a plan for all of us and it's not our place to ask why. I'm a single mother of 2. My daughter is almost 2 and my son is 2 and a half mths but I have alot of support from my family. We'll get to where we want to be in life sooner or later

it seems like so many people with great stats either didn't get in or were waitlisted...it makes me wonder how much the interview counted

I don't know, but I can't imagine that my friend bombed the interview. She is very friendly and personable, and she cleans up great lol. It make ME wonder ***, frankly.

Personally I am hoping for sooner ...But, it is not up to me, it is up to him and I just do my part to help him prepare me for what is next. I know I would not have gotten this far if it was not meant to be and neither would any of the people on this thread. We all are very smart, unique people and we all deserve the opportunity to do our part to help in this world. I think all of you guys will make wonderful nurses and I look forward to seeing how things turn out for your lives. And I am certain I will definantly get my chance too. I have total and complete FAITH!

Stop doubting...I am sure your friend was awesome. It was one person who met her and one person who rated her if they score us and it is a sorry thing that our futures come down to one person's opinion really but they are just a person none the less. It doesn't mean your friend was not great and didn't say all the right things and have all the right stats. Give them time to complete there admission process, I know everything will work out the way it should.

Have a little faith, esp. if you know your friend and you know she did well. Believe in her and know that if she got passed over because someone didn't have a great day or the woman she met with was not fully on that day....know that it is wrong and in my experience if you do things all right then the wrongs have a way of working out for you. I am sure she did fine.

Sorinrae77 thanks for those very inspirational words! I was waitliste too and you are right what is meant to be will be and even if I don't get in there is always the fall. So I agree with you at least it wasn't a complete rejection. Thanks again for the uplift.:loveya:

I've also been waitlisted for the nursing program. It's very upsetting but hopefully all of us will get in.

my status finally changed!

emag - were you the one who also had a friend who ended up calling ut about interviews? and she interviewed the same day as you? just wondering if she was accepted

Someone mentioned that they are curious to know how much the interview matters.

Well...yesterday I got a denial email but my application was no longer active for Spring 2010.

So I called the school and they said it was a mistake. They ran a "denial" report before they changed my application to Fall 2010. The weird thing is that I changed the application date the morning of my interview which I did not attend. Basically, I took that to mean, I would not have been accepted regardless of the fact that I got an interview. That's unfortunate. Fortunately, I applied to another school and got in for the Spring but it's frustrating to think that I was denied BEFORE I went for the interview. Then why bother?

I had a thought. You changed your status the morning of the interview that you did not attend. I wouldn't think they'd update your status right away, right? That's just when you told them. I guess that would mean you were denied because you didn't have the interview...
