Anyone here applied already?

Have you taken the NET exam?

Thanks daniele5683! That helped!

I was looking at parking and I'm a little confused. They gave us a couple website for I guess contract parking?? I am not sure how it works. Does anyone that attends now use either the UT parking or TMC parking? How does it work and how much does it cost? What would you say is the best idea for parking? I really don't want to do park and ride but will if that is what everyone thinks works the best.

does anyone know the locations of the drug screening and background check places? im trying to figure out where they are before i order them because if i cant go on a certain day because of where it's at i don't want to have to resign up. im trying to get them done in one day because im not in houston right now and i want to know if they're close together or whatnot..im planning in on coming in next friday so i want to do it then.

you do the criminal background check online. there isnt a place you have to go to. for the drug screening they give you a few different places that you can go. and there is not a certain day or time you have to go. after you pay for the drug screening they are going to send you an email with the different locations you can go to. all you have to do is print out the email and bring it to any of the locations any day any time. these are the two locations they gave me....

Just to let everyone know in case you were wondering because I know I was. If you turned in your letter of intent and want to make sure they recieved it. Look at your status and where it says "provisional acceptance" under that it should say "Confirmation has been received from you that you plan to enroll."

Question for those of you who had to take the HESI A2 as the entrance exam..

What did you use to study for the A&P portion? I've heard the Evolve study guide was pretty helpful for all of the other sections except A&P.

Thanks everyone! :specs:

For our class we had to take the NET. They are incorporating the hesi for Spring 2011 applicants but I did have to take it for another school. I just bought a nursing entrance exam study guide from Barnes and Noble... I think it is by Kaplan and that worked pretty well for me.

I found the evolve book very helpful. If you need help check out www.jraphahealth.com - pre-nursing exam prep course

Hi everyone!

I recently accepted my position in the Generic program for the Fall, and I'm beginning the process of apartment hunting/roommate hunting. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know! Also, if anyone is interested in rooming together let me know!

Thanks!

Brittany

Hey Everyone! First of all, Congrats on getting accepted! I am about to start my 3rd semester at UT Houston (now known as UTHealth) and I am the Student Nurse Association President. I know you all are crazy excited right now (I know I was this time last year!) If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I can give you email address. One piece of advise, REVIEW A&P and ENJOY you summer!!! You will be so glad you did! I look forward to meeting all of you and when you come to orientation, join UTSNA!

Congrats to all of you again that are getting ready for the Fall...I do have a question, to be Core Complete did you have to take College Algebra or any other Math course?

Thanks in advance!

I took college Algebra because it was a pre req to take stats(which is a pre req required by UT) at Lonestar. I used it as an elective. I wouldn't have taken it otherwise.
