UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

I have one official transcript on my to do list and I'm thinking that it will stay on there because I have 2 more classes in progress to take. Is anyone on the same boat?

Not necessarily. I have 4 classes I am taking right now and that transcript was the first to be removed from my to do list. I would call and double check that they have it. When I called a couple days ago they were processing documents still and my other transcript didn't come off until yesterday.

I called them and they just said to check hesi and see that the ut houston code is up and it means that they have them for sure forgot to ask about transcript she seemed a bit annoyed.

I'm glad that i'm not the only one with backdate issues and the transcript and hesi scores still showing initiated. I have been freaking out and have been trying to call but just get voice mails. I did email the other day and she replied that because i am currently taking classes it will not clear until i send in a final transcript, but I am just worried. I hope they still accept my application with everything I have sent in.

I still have the hesi requirement and two of my transcripts left on my to-do list. I've been freaking out about it, and wasn't getting any replies to emails or voicemails, but I tried calling this morning, and I found out that they do have my scores and all of my transcripts. I feel relieved, nervous, and impatient! I want to know now! :)

@tmadsen did they take your transcripts and hesi requirement off your to-do list after you spoke with them?

Well, the only thing I have initiated on my to do list is the official transcript with classes that I have not even started taking yet (semester for me starts Jan 21). Everything else (along with another official transcript from another school) has been taken off of the list.

I still have the hesi and transcript as initiated on my to-do list as well

A single transcript and hesi score remains for me as well. I've sent the transcript electronically twice and they said they preferred that anyways :)

@nm1900 The two transcripts and my hesi scores are still on my to-do list, but I'm hoping this will be updated by tonight. I do keep checking in here and there though, just to see.

Called them this morning and they have received everything. The only reason why I have an "Official Transcript" still initiated is because I have classes in progress for this Spring semester. Super relieved!
