For those who got a hold on their amount, i called and they said we shouldn't worry about its just because of your classes in progess.

I was thinking that if there is a rhyme or reason to evaluations being processed, it could be in the order the school received our applications. My last name begins with H and I have not received my evaluation, but I also submitted my application close to the end of the application period. ??? There is a good chance though that there is no pattern and we will continue to get them in random order. lol

I am just happy that we only have three weeks tops until we know something for sure! (Hopefully sooner though to save my sanity) ;-)

Hi everybody I know it's super stressful applying but I hate to say there is no rhyme or reason to evals being sent it. Don't panic if you don't get one! I promise they have no thought process or order to this, it's like random. I received like 4, and then another after I had already started at the school. Personally I think their computer systems receive stuff and it spits letters out randomly. If you want to make sure you got everything turned in and all your classes have been transferred (and I would double check all of them); call the office. If they don't answer, call again. Tell them you want to make sure all of your info got to them, double check your classes, application, etc. tell them you haven't received an eval yet. I called about classes and 2 days later I received an email. Just call them but don't panic, some people don't get evals!

Hi every1, I finally decided to join in since we all share the same anxiety. From the little I gathered if you don't have any admission hold, its either of two cases. First it could be that your docs have not been checked to determine what you still have to submit, in most or should I say all cases its something to do with the transcript, since at the time of deadline all applicants have a completed application form and fees ($60), Hesi scores, transcript with at least 40 credit hours. Now what differs amongst applicants is the level of course completion, if you don't have a final transcript then you will definitely have a hold. A final transcript will be-only and only if you do not have in progress/ongoing courses (even if the courses has nothing to do with UTHSC-H prerequisites). In short you will only have a final transcript if you do not have present ongoing course or future courses i.e you will have to have graduated from the present institution. As long as you are still active in you present institution then your transcript will still read in progress and it will not read as a FINAL TRANSCRIPT.

Taking my own situation as an example, I have an admission hold because I have an ongoing sociology course, so what I have is a transcript in progress and not a final transcript. After I complete the sociology class, though I would have completed all required prerequisite courses for UTHSC-H my transcript will still read in progress since I still intend to take summer courses (speech and computer) for other schools that require them. This has nothing to do with being considered for acceptance or rejection! Being accepted or rejected is a process that cannot be predicted, criteria used is unknown to applicants and differs from semester to semester. So for some one like me if I am offered admission, I will still have an admission hold since what I will have from my current institution will be an in progress transcript due to speech and computer courses I might be taking for summer (though I intend to drop those classes if I am accepted into UTHSC-H).

The second case of you not having an admission hold on your account is as simple as ABC-if you have a FINAL TRANSCRIPT (if you do not have present ongoing classes nor do you intend to have future ones).

Hi, I'm also a new member but have just started reading this thread this past week. Like all of you I have been anxious and freaking out about not receiving my transcript evaluation and having no admission holds. But reading this last post from luvingme I realize this idea must be right since I have called and they have all of my documents in and i have no ongoing classes therefore I have no holds and have a green circle on my admission status. I also feel that it's the reason why I may have not received a transcript. I am still anxious and will be until I either get an acceptance/rejection since I have frustrated myself reading the past 2012 fall and 2013 fall posts and there is no pattern to their timing or admittance preference. I just hope and pray we can find out soon so all our nerves could be finally put at ease.

Has anyone gotten any denials/acceptances yet? I've been so focused on getting into UTMB that I haven't been checking on my UT Houston status. I still have a yellow triangle that reads "incomplete." I just want an answer that way I know my application isn't lost or forgotten.

I have a green circle. I had to go to the "holds" section on the bottom left to see if I had a hold, and I did. Just to clarify. (Which means you might have a hold even if you have a green circle.)

Mine is still incomplete and I have the admissions hold. The April 15th date is what I was given as well for when acceptances/denials would be out...which is 3 weeks from today.

Hey I also applied for the Fall 2014 entry and I am kind of wishing I did for the summer too just to have an extra chance. Mine says incomplete as well but I called and they said it's because I am graduating in May so it will say that until I get my degree. Anyways, I am SO nervous too. I applied to UTMB, TWU, and A&M and got accepted to the first two but just found out today I was wait listed at A&M :/ So now I am just waiting to here from UT H.... I haven't gotten an eval yet either I didn't even know those existed!
