I know its a bit early to start this forum seeing as the deadline is September 1; however, I wanted to have a place to communicate with all the people applying for the spring semester. we might be able to help each other out with information about deadlines, application status, plus its also nice to talk with people going through the same thing as you. I'll just start by introducing myself.
My name is Edera,
I am currently a senior in High School. I will be graduating High School with my Associate's degree, thanks to the dual credit classes I have been taking. When I finish High School I will have 40 of the 60 credit hours completed. I will be taking Chemistry, Microbiology, and Growth & Development in the Summer, and then Intro to Sociology, Statistics, and Nutrition in the Fall. I have yet to take my Hesi, I plan on taking it in June or August. I plan on starting the application this week.
Hope to see many of you here, so that we are able to help out one another. Good Luck everyone!!
How is your friend liking the program so far? I've been wanting to hear from current and previous students about their experience.
She loves it! Apparently it's stressful but that's a guarantee you know. Friday was her first day of clinicals at MD Anderson, and she had a successful first day. We haven't had a chance to talk much since she has been in the program but one thing for sure is be ready to study allllllll the time.

Thanks! If you can, can you ask her to give any insight as to what their daily/weekly schedule is like? I've been going nuts trying to find some info lol. I'm trying to figure out what kind of childcare I'll need to plan if I get in.
@ph0603 I met a girl at my church that just started attending UT. She said she attends class Mon-Wed. With Wednesday being from like 8-4 I think. Thur-Sat are used for clinicals. She also said she was able to choose where she would like to have her clinicals and the time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong since it's been a while since I spoke to her.

Thank you! I'm hoping not too many days start before 8. I have one son that gets on the bus at 6:45am, and the other can only be dropped off earliest at 6:30am. Not sure if I'd be able to make it to the med center and allot time to park and be on time from Sugar Land.
Of course this is all dependent on if I get accepted lol.

If I'm not mistaken class begins at 8 so you should be fine. I also have two children that'll have to be put in daycare that way I make it on time since I'd be coming from Cypress.
I've also been planning this out for some time even though I'm not sure if I'll be getting in. I just don't want to get stressed having to figure this all out at the last minute.
