UT Health Pacesetter Spring 2019

Published

I know its a bit early to start this forum seeing as the deadline is September 1; however, I wanted to have a place to communicate with all the people applying for the spring semester. we might be able to help each other out with information about deadlines, application status, plus its also nice to talk with people going through the same thing as you. I'll just start by introducing myself.

My name is Edera,

I am currently a senior in High School. I will be graduating High School with my Associate's degree, thanks to the dual credit classes I have been taking. When I finish High School I will have 40 of the 60 credit hours completed. I will be taking Chemistry, Microbiology, and Growth & Development in the Summer, and then Intro to Sociology, Statistics, and Nutrition in the Fall. I have yet to take my Hesi, I plan on taking it in June or August. I plan on starting the application this week.

Hope to see many of you here, so that we are able to help out one another. Good Luck everyone!! xhappy2.png.pagespeed.ic.zjIVMhQq4z.webp

Am I the only one who hasnt received an evaluation? /:

I haven't received one either. I'm thinking that maybe because I have two other college transcripts that they have to evaluate, that they put mine on the back burner since it will take longer.

I don't know. I just keep telling myself that to stay calm. LOL

I haven't gotten one either! Fingers crossed we find out admission decisions soon. This wait is killing me.

Hi everyone! I have been following this thread for quite some time, & I finally decided to create an account. I just received my transcript evaluation today so there is still hope for those of you still waiting. My stats aren't the greatest but since this is my first time posting I'll share below. Luckily, the wait is almost over!

Overall Hesi-92.8

Reading & Comp-82

Grammar-92

Vocab-94

Math-96

A&P-100

My overall GPA is 3.6, nursing GPA is 3.7, and science GPA is 4.0

I finally received my transcript eval today! And I live in California right now so hopefully those of you in Texas have gotten yours as well.

One note that might help some of you: I called this summer to ask about the Philosophy requirement. They told me that only Philosophy or Ethics classes will fulfill that requirement. Lo and behold, on my evaluation, they are counting an English Lit class I took in my first Bachelor's for the Philosophy requirement, so I basically wasted my time and money taking a Philosophy class this summer! If any of you have a similar concern with the Philos requirement, I suggest calling and asking if they can accept one of your other courses.
