UT AE-MSN 2016

Hi all -

Just wondering who else is applying for the AE-MSN program at the University of Texas at Austin. I am applying to the psych NP track and super nervous about it! I know previous applicants did not hear back about interviews until early December and decisions until early February.

I feel ya! The fact that it's mid-November and I haven't heard anything is nerve wracking. Where are the rest of the applicants? It is SO quiet on this thread. I thought for sure this would be our space for coming together to commiserate application stress and anxiety. Maybe not many people have looked up info about the program to find the thread?

I applied to leads and have not received an interview email :/

I have been obsessively checking my email for days... haha! I can't wait until I hear something back.. the suspense is brutal!

And where is everyone that applied?? Mid-November and only 49 comments on this thread?? How can we spice it up on here? :)

I applied to the psych NP track and did not get an email about switching to leads; I am also still getting prereqs done, Emb, I lack two.

I got an email tonight to schedule an interview for AGCNS! Looks like interviews are next week!!! :D :D Anyone else get any news?

I applied to the leads program and haven't heard back either. I am also still finishing my prerequisites. I think that they might be interviewing those who have a "complete" application (finished all required courses) before moving on to those who still have to finish some classes. So hopefully we'll be hearing something soon.

I just got an interview request for PMHNP!!:) I am still working on pre-reqs so I don't imagine completion of courses influences interview requests. Anyone else? I'm just so excited to have finally heard something! Woohoo!

Just got my email for an interview for FPMHNP!! I'm surprised they're so far out still. It seems like last year they only had a couple days to prepare. Already so nervous though!!! I wonder how many people they're interviewing.

Also did you see how many aspects of the interview there are now? Group, individual, writing portion, then another individual!

I got an email to schedule the interview also. It didn't mention a way to do it over the phone which has me nervous because I'm really not sure I can get to Austin. Yikes.

I just received an email about getting fingerprinted, but I still haven't received any email for an interview? Anyone else get this email?
