I heard the scrubs are going to have to be white on white :smackingf.... I was hoping for a usf color, like hunter green perhaps? Lol why white? I dirty clothes that are black, let alone white! But, I talked to a woman in the USF Nursing Bookstore and she mentioned they may be changing the scrub guidelines this year!!! :yeah:Fingers crossed !!!

The hospital I am rooting for is St. Joesph's main hospital & my second would probably be Mease !!! :)

Hahaha I knowww!!! I wonder why they came up with the crazy idea of white scrubs!I would looove if they change them to green.. do you know when are we registering for classes?

I'm thinking at orientation  They pick our class schedule, right? If they pick our classes, will we need to even register? ..... So will everyone in the upper division have the same exact schedule as each other? aww It's like elementary school again lol we see the same students from class to class & even go to lunch together ! Hope Nursing school is just as easy :clown:

I think most of our unanswered questions will be addressed at orientation...or at least I hope! I just found out yesterday that they sign us up for classes for six consecutive semesters, which includes summers. Meaning this program basically takes three years, but instead of three years they make us stay during summer. I guess that's good considering I won't have to pay for another years rent! That would be really cool if we were all in the same classes for 2 years! Personally, I don't know anyone in Tampa so I'm hoping to meet a lot of people in this program. You can add me on fb if you want...my name is Alexis Cornwell :)

Congrats on being accepted! You will be registered your first semester. After that, you are expected to register on your own based on your degree plan that will be handed out tomorrow of Friday. Both accelerated and upper division students will have the same courses the first semester. I began last Fall so I know what you guys will go through. Be thankful you did not start in summer.

BTW, can't wait to meet some of you tomorrow. I will be with Nursing Student Council, which I expect you all to join :).

Just sent you a friend request :) I know its late, but i cant sleep :uhoh3: 6 hours to goooo!

Yay we made it through orientation! :yelclap: Does anybody have any recommendations as to where to buy scrubs for female besides uniform city? How about stethoscope?. I found one online for $45 but it says it is lightweight.I don't know if they accept like that. Thanks!!!!! :)

anyone for clinicals at St Joes having trouble completing the baycare training? I tried to complete the BEACON nursing lesson and assessment and every time I take the assessment it says its still in progress or only like 11% completed. I've taken it literally 10 times and tried saving and exiting and then just exiting nothing is completing it. Anyone else having this problem???

I think you have to complete all the sections for it to say 100% complete :) . One question...when you completed the Phase 1 power chart nursing lessons, does it show a grade in the score tab? Also,do you know if we have to complete all the BEACON lessons before classes? Phase 2 is pretty long...:(
