  1. I took the NCLEX on Saturday 5/4/2014 at 8:00 am. The exam shut off after 225 questions. I did the Pearson trick when i got home and I got the good pop up, the one with "you recently scheduled this exam, contact your board for more assistance" message. I checked again that night and again on Sunday and I kept getting the same pop up. Monday morning (yesterday) at about 10am i checked and it said that my results were available, so i paid the $7.95 and found out I PASSED!!!! I was so happy, i had tears in my eyes. Today when i woke up , i immediately checked the bon website and my license number was there. :)
  2. I wanted to congratulate to everyone that got accepted to the program!!! :yeah:I am an upper division student in semester 4. I remember being so nervous at first because like you I did not know what to expect, but trust and believe, it will be fine. At first it might seem like it's a lot,but don't give up! It is a hard road but in the end we will be able to look back and say: WE DID IT! A tip would be to review the notes from the powerpoints everyday while the information is still fresh in your head. (Some of the students did not do it, and it just makes it a lot harder later on, because ALL the material builds upon earlier lessons),not to mention a lot of stress at the last minute before tests. Besides, you will feel more comfortable at clinicals :) . What I did was, I recorded the lectures, that way if I didn't understand something, I could go back and listen to it. (BTW: You guys might found a recorder useful particularly in Pathophysiology, Dr. Gwinn talks very fast in his lectures). Then I would read the power points notes + notes I had taken during class (I did not review them every day - something I should have done). Another tip is to really know your Pharmacology. I found that one to be the hardest class in semester 1. It's a lot of memorization. That is one of the most important classes you will ever take in nursing school. If you guys have any questions or need any more tips, feel free to ask! Congratulations once again!
  3. I think you have to complete all the sections for it to say 100% complete :) . One question...when you completed the Phase 1 power chart nursing lessons, does it show a grade in the score tab? Also,do you know if we have to complete all the BEACON lessons before classes? Phase 2 is pretty long...
  4. Yay we made it through orientation! :yelclap: Does anybody have any recommendations as to where to buy scrubs for female besides uniform city? How about stethoscope?. I found one online for $45 but it says it is lightweight.I don't know if they accept like that. Thanks!!!!! :)
  5. Hahaha I knowww!!! I wonder why they came up with the crazy idea of white scrubs!I would looove if they change them to green.. do you know when are we registering for classes?
  6. Thank you so much for clarifying that for me!!!!!! Yes ,that's what I'll do,just in case they need it..I am too so ready to buy scrubs and everything else..i don't know about you but I'll feel so great the first time I wear a scrub lol. We get matched up with hospitals on thursday! Im excited :w00t:..I hope I get matched up with the one I want...(Morton Plant Mease),but we'll see!!! Thanks again!!!!!! :)
  7. oh and for the health form it's just the health form with the signatures...no attachments like copy of immunization forms ,right? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!! :)
  8. WHOOO HOO!!!! Congratulations to all who got accepted! :anpom::anpom: I got accepted too! Finished my long list of things..waiting for orientation...im really excited about it (and nervous lol) . I completed my CPR class last week..but Im confused about something, they said to have the certification by the 28th,well how are they going to know who has it? Will they check? or do we fax them a copy of our certification? (Sorry for so many questions,I just want to have everything ready and under control before orientation lol :)
