USF- University of San Francisco- Applied? Considering?

Has any one applied to USF or is considering this school for Spring 2010 or Fall 2010? I am going to apply in October, so I am very anxious for October to arrive!

Helloo! does USF require a TEAS test? what are the requirements to get in? If I get into the school am I automatically in the nursing program? Or do I have to apply for that as well?

No i e-mailed the school and they said that you do not need to take the teas test. you just need a letter of recommendation and a personal essay i think.

do you know what the average GPA is that they accept? and how many people apply and how many get accepted?

I got accepted for Fall 2010 and my pre-req GPA is 3.3. I also have an AS degree so my GE is done. That could have given me an edge in admissions.

Not sure how many people apply. I assume that because USF is so expensive that less people apply. That means less competition :)

I have a quick question. Was your AS degree in nursing? Did you apply for the ADN-MSN route?

My AS degree is in Biology/Health Science. I applied for the undergrad BSN program. I do not have any nursing degree, yet.

Yeah, I've been super anxious but know we'll have to wait... I heard from a current student that she heard back in January last year. She was shocked it was so close to the start of the semester.

O wow till January grr that is really late. Some people are saying until christmass time. When I emailed a couple of days ago they said I will hear back in a couple of weeks, so I'm not sure and on another post people said they have been accepted. different answers. Just hoping all this waiting were going through means were accepted.

Hmm, which other post is this? I'll have to look! I certainly haven't heard anything yet... but I can't say I'm a stellar applicant. If I get in, I'd probably hear back late...

I know on the nursing website it said that admissions for the graduate programs have recently gone out. I don't know if the same committee is looking at the undergrad program as well.

Ahhh, found the other thread. GOSH so we should be hearing any day now since some letters have already gone out!!!
