Hey do any of you know anybody who has taken classes at a community college without the permission of USF? I want to take the full load at my community college and be enrolled in the 1 unit class at USF but I don't want to cause a problem with USF.

I honestly want to get into SFSU because USF is SOO long.

Thanks

well, USF can't really stop you. The only risk you're running is the classes you take at a CC might not be accepted by USF

usually they're okay with it as long as its not philosophy or ethics

Hey guys! Can I ask anyone who got accepted to the USF BSN program if they would tell me what their GPA was and who wrote their letter of recommendation? I am applying soon for USF and want to get an idea for myself! thanks so much! :)

My GPA was 3.64, and one of my letters was from my anat/physio intructor. The other one was from an employer/friend, she wrote a very nice letter. She was a nurse for some years so she wrote what the qualities of a nurse were and how I fit them.

Best of luck, make sure that is what you want because USF is super expensive. I'm switching to CSUEB

Did you start going to USF and then decide to switch over when you got accepted to CSUEB? I am applying to state schools as well but I am lost as to what I should do. 4 years seems way too long as I have already been in school for almost 3 years doing pre reques!

Yes that is exactly what I am doing. Some people feel that the price and time is work it because of the prestige of USF. But that's not enough for me. I took almost 3 years doing my prereqs as well and didn't want to take longer than needed.

I am also thinking of going to graduate school and don't want outstanding student loans so I can take out more if needed later.

But since nursing is so competitive I say apply anywhere you can.
