I am applying!!! I just decided I would go for spring tonight. I am applying to USF's spring program as well so I thought Id give myself options. Did you calculate your points yet? Have you taken your TEAS? It looks like last spring the point cut off was 62 points...not bad at all! Whats your stats? Where are you from? I live in Concord and go to DVC community college. If I get accepted I will just commute. 1.5 hour drive but it will be worth it since the program is only 2 years long!

I feel you on that. Are you pre nursing?? I am about to take 3 finals next week. I work 40 hours a week, half at a hospital on my feet and half serving at a restaurant serving on my feet. I am in 13 units of pre nursing (this is my second to last semester thank god!) and I am a single mother to a 3 year old, and I still manage to pull a 4.0! I too should be studying right now but instead I am on here! lol good luck to you! You can do it! p.s. I am in Micro too this semester :)

Did you start going to USF and then decide to switch over when you got accepted to CSUEB? I am applying to state schools as well but I am lost as to what I should do. 4 years seems way too long as I have already been in school for almost 3 years doing pre reques!

All who are applying to CSU'S for FALL 13 admissions lets start a convo! This way we can use it as a resource for application and other deadlines and a support system while we await are letters! I am applying to SFSU, SAC STATE, SAN JOSE STATE, CSUEB, AND USF cum GPA-3.98 pre reques-4.0 (Still need to take Microbio) TEAS-havent taken it yet over a year of pain healthcare work with direct patient care(clinical medical assistant) multi cultural experience in brazil and nicaragua 2 semesters of ASL(does that count as proficient???)

Hey everyone I would like advice from anyone who has gotten in to Nursing school(BSN PROGRAM). I am applying this fall in California. USF, SFSU, CSUEB, SJSU, SAC STATE, SONOMA STATE. I have a cumulative college GPA of 3.9, and a Nursing pre req GPA of a 4.0. I havent taken Microbiology yet and I am currently in Physiology and have an A so far. I am a medical assistant(CMA) for a Cardiology office and have been there for a year. I havent taken the teas yet and I am also nervous about that! What else can I do to improve my chances?
