Tooproudtomention, it wasnt a new grad program it was a clinical nurse 1 position but 13 weeks of training. My advice would be to network my connections are what helped me get my foot in the door. As you all probably know half the battle is just getting an interview so network network network!!

I got an email requesting an Interview. I am for adult acute med/prog/surg track.

I have had "manager review in progress" for a week and a half and haven't heard anything. Never really sure a out status changes until I actually hear something.

I liked it. The campus is beautiful, and I liked how we had a separate nursing orientation. I really liked the teachers and I am excited to get to know them because it seems like they want to form really good one on one relationships. (They are all like geniuses too, they are almost all D.N.P.'s it seems...CRAZY) It seems like a really amazing program and that they want to challenge you but make you succeed at the same time. I approve haha How about everyone elsE?

ya. it is harder to get money in spring. but hopefully we can all get more in fall! :-]

ya i am taking nursing 120 , the rhetoric 250, a literature class, and an ethnics class. I am thinking about taking another one now (maybe one towards a minor) but i am not sure. I think that is like 13 units. I want to kind of take the most units I can if i am paying $18,000 a semester...haha

what classes is everyone planning on taking?

When did u send in your deposit as well? I couldn't look up anything till then. They might still just be processing things.good luck

It should be under your self service thing in your usfconnect. I know when I did fafsa I didn't send it to the school but I filled out the FAFSA application. So I would e-mail and ask (they will tell you if you did or not and if you didn't they will send you the school code- know your password and pin though for FAFSA (don't get locked out of your account like me haha)) It will then show you a break down of your loans. Unfortunately, FAFSA didn't give me that much money so I had to (or my parents did) take a parent plus loan which is another type of loan from the government. One stop helps you pretty well though in explaining it. Even in e-mail they are pretty quick.

I used a debit card I believe. And I remember I couldn't access the degree evaluation until I sent in the deposit. I believe it is the 20th, a Thursday. :-]

i think that is why they say pick a minor. For usf it is a little different for general education. you have to take a English class there, and take ethics, theology, cultural diversity, and service learning. so there are classes to take next semester. and also nursing in the Jesuit tradition and nursing as a professional I think. And immunization wouln't keep you from registration. The date it opens for new undergrads in January 10th, wish it was sooner...dont they realize we need to get books as well! so 2more days till we can register.

Just curious though...does everyone that got in say 8 semester? or were there any lucky 6 semesters?

what an horrible thing to get lost in the mail! But it was good new nonetheless and congrats to all! So excited to see so much good news on this forum and to meet everyone at orientation which is so soon!! ekkk:-]
