  1. Great! I hope you get into that anatomy class. The point cut off for this fall 2012 is at 65 currently. I applied but am on the wait list so I have just accepted that I will just have to reapply for next spring. I am a current sac state student and most likely will commute from Folsom for the first semester but depending how that goes I may just move down there in sac. Wow that is going to be quite the commute from concord! I guess I can't complain about my commute then haha. I will have 77 points hopefully for the spring. I got way more points from my gpa this term so I'm happy about that. What year are you all in and what schools? I was thinking about applying to usf as well but I'm not sure if I want to go through with the 3 year program as opposed to the 2 year one at sac state.
  2. yay congratulations kaiamc!!! i saw that they're at number 31, yay! are you getting ready for the craziness to begin?
  3. Hey who is all applying for Sac State's Spring 2013 program??!
  4. congratulations! do you know how many alternates they're accepting so far?
  5. ATTN admitted students for Fall 2012! I have a quick question: when you were admitted, did they give you a certain time frame to accept or decline your acceptance? And if so, what is that date by? I am just trying to figure out when they will start notifying the alternates. Thanks!
  6. I don't think that there is a deadline for housing but the apps open up for the American courtyard tomorrow afternoon I believe. However, I think you are more likely to get the room that you want if you apply as early as possible. I would call and ask the housing department first though.
  7. Hey! Im debating whether to apply for on campus housing (American courtyard I think is what it's called) or to university village which is much less money than the on campus housing and really close to the nursing building but I think you need to put on the application your preferred roommates. So if you're looking for a nursing roommate just email me! By the way I am applying for fall 12 clinicals too! Good luck and let me know if you're interested in a roommate :) my name is Joanna by the way and my email is [email protected]
  8. Okay great thanks. What was your situation for being admitted to usf nursing? Did you have a 4.0?? And also the tuition is very expensive but I have all of my gen ed completed so will that help with being part time? Would it take me longer if I did go to school part time?
  9. Hi everyone. Im applying to USF nursing for Spring transfer 2012. Any advice? I been reading a lot on these posts and you all seem to say that it takes a while to even start clinicals. I've been at my local community college for 2 years now and going on my last semester. Should I be looking elsewhere? If so, what other good nursing programs are out there? I am willing to go out of state as well. Thanks!
  10. Hi everyone, this is my first time writing on this site but I've been reading posts for a while now. I have a few questions about nursing school if anyone is willing to help. I am currently going to my local community college and have been taking general ed as well as the pre-reqs for nursing school. I won't be finished with the second A&P and microbiology until this fall but I was hoping to transfer into a BSN program for spring 2012. My first choice is University of San Francisco. But I have been reading a lot about how they accept people but then do not let them start clinical for a year. I was also hoping to apply to Loyola University in Chicago but you have to have all of your pre-reqs completed before even applying to the program. Are most BSN programs like that?? Please let me know, I'm confused and new haha. Thanks!
