Had my interview this week too. Before we started I was asked if I had heard of any of the interview questions prior to coming because it would be considered unethical to know the interview questions ahead of time, and they do know about this blog site...

There is really nothing you can do to prepare except be yourself and be honest. I hope to have some good news next month, and I wish everyone the best. Please let me know if anyone gets chosen. I am trying not to think about it too much otherwise I become more anxious...lol

I forgot to mention that I did speak to the USF Admissions office contact (for the school itself not the nursing college), and she said that so far the only acceptances for the CON she has received is for the CRNA program.

Also, I had learned that some students may be placed in an alternate position and eventually get chosen to be in the program. So, for those who have not heard anything yet, there is still a chance to get an interview. Plus, some students may have applied to multiple colleges, etc. and may not take a spot in this program even though they are accepted.

Hi everyone, I'm glad to find this blog. I also interviewed for the FNP program this week. I agree with others who have posted, just be yourself. I completed my application on 2/10 and verified on 2/28. My overall GPA is 3.56, BSN GPA is 3.81. I have 10 years of experience, cardiac, home health, and OB/GYN. I was told that they would be interviewing until the end of the month and we should hear back no later than mid April. Good luck to everyone!!!

Hello! I am glad to come across this amazing site. I submitted an application for the FNP program for Fall 2017 with a GPA of 3.8. I do not have that much experience because i have been in and out of work due to some family issues. I wonder if this will count against me. My RN-BSN is from USF in the Summer of 2016. My interview will be at the end of this month. My fingers are crossed. I am nervous and hoping for the best for me and for all of you.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone happen to know the pass rate for USF NP Boards...any of them? They were unable to tell me thus far. I thought most schools would know this information. Well, this is the last week of interviews. One of my colleagues has hers this Thursday. We are almost there.
