I received an email today that I have an interview as well. I don't know if that's good, I was hoping direct admission but I'm grateful. Just get nervous during interviews.

Surprisingly I received an invitation 3/8, my verification was done 1/24, gpa 3.5 BSN, 3.2 AA, overall a 3.4. Have year experience in medsurg/oncology, will have two years in cardiovascular in September. Really excited about the interview! I genuinely was expecting a rejection letter. But I'm excited :roflmao: everyone try to keep people updated on info as this is usf first interview process

Hi everyone!

I'm so glad I found this thread. I submitted my FNP application at the end of December 2016. But I didn't receive my interview email until 3/7/17 (nerve racking! :0) My cumulative GPA is 3.6. My interview is scheduled for 3/30..when is everyone else going? I hope we hear back soon after all the interviews are completed...the anticipation is killing me! Has anyone heard how many people they plan to admit?

Did any of you apply to the Dual DNP oncology/adult-Gerontology Primary Care Program? I just did my interview two days ago. It went great. Of course I am not counting anything until I hold an official acceptance letter in my hand.

Hello everyone, I turned in all of my paperwork on January 22, 2017. I have not heard anything back from nursing cas or USF regarding an interview or a denial letter. If you submitted your paperwork after mine and received an interview, can you please tell me your GPA? This is such a nervous experience.

My application was also verified at the end of January. Please let me know if you get a response. If you don't mind me asking, what is your gpa?

My interview was with a single faculty member and it was based a lot on my experience and background and reasons for pursuing this career path. I have an extensive history in both inpatient and outpatient nursing so I'm confident that this made an impact in gaining the interview. My gpa was average but my BSN was done through USF. I do have direct experience in oncological nursing and this was definitely a factor. Is there a thread for DNP applicants? I'm sure I'm not the only one.....

I have yet to receive an interview. I am EXTREMELY nervous now. Has anyone NOT received an interview yet.

I was told if you didn't receive an invite for interview, then you weren't considered for the fall term.

I had asked before if everyone would get an interview she said no and she told me only the applicants that would be considered for the term. Then they will pick from there I guess
