Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.
Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

So...I heard from a friend that someone from SF campus got waitlisted today. Not sure about the details though. Hoping to hear back soon!
Is it possible that they got into USF OC? I think that they announced their waitlists in this time period. I wish they sent out email updates! I keep stalking these forums, lol.
That's weird they said it would still take a few weeks for decisions for SF. They should really send out a courtesy email letting us know of the delay so we aren't second guessing ourselves!
This cycle is definitely DIFFERENT. I feel your pain, I wish they were more organized with updating through e-mail at least. This whole process put me through an emotional roller coaster finding out on my own nowhere else but through the online app. Maybe they are releasing SF's later in the week afterall?
@warsh26 I was on the waitlist 2 cycles ago and USF does not have a numbered one. When I spoke with someone shortly after I was waitlisted, they told me that I would hear back about my status within a few weeks. They explained it was not numbered and that when people decline their spot, they would revisit the waitlist group. Erin explained to me sometimes they would take a handful of people, sometimes none at all. It is all very dependent on the applicant pool. But don't fret! I have been waitlisted and I finally got a call back from SMU! So those of you who have been WL'd...keep pushing! You WILL get there eventually. I am living proof! Everyone stay positive, and congrats to those who got in so far! :)
Aww congrats @macyymace on getting accepted!! You must be ecstatic!! :) And @warsh26 I totally understand how you feel... I feel the same way currently. It's like we've already waited SO long and now we have to wait another month? Uuggghh... also wondering what our chances are of getting in from the waitlist. I just have no idea what to expect and it's the worst feeling!
@starestrella , yeah exactly! I don't know what to expect either, being waitlisted isn't even a satisfaction, yea we're still in the running but who knows how many people are ahead of us and who's even gonna give up their spot, you know?
