USF MSN CNL non nurse spring 2018

Published

Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.

Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

Lets start this journey together and good luck to everyone.

Thank you thank you!! Can't wait to meet all of you!

Have you submitted your intent to enroll/deposit? I got a little to excited and did it right away.

Yes I did just now!

It's going to be so interesting meeting everyone in person after talking through usernames on this forum haha yay!

@mangos526

Yes! so exciting! Thank you for creating the FB page!

BTW, can you please tell me what they told you over the phone? (just in case they don't call me at all lol)

They just said that they wanted to inform me of my acceptance and that letters are being sent out in the mail this week so expect one in the coming days! It was like a 2 minute conversation.. very short probably because I was hyperventilating the entire duration of the phone call.

Btw where were you able to find the intent to enroll form?

Ohh okay, thank you! I guess I didn't miss too much then, just the excitement of getting the call haha.

If you go back to the page where you check your application status, there is a link on the bottom of the page under "forms" and it will say "Intent to enroll" :)

Congrats @macyymace ! That's amazing, you were so worried just like me but I bet you're so relieved and excited now. I would be too. I unfortunately have been waitlisted, I'm crushed. I know that's not being denied either, but I feel like chances are low now. I dont even know how many people are usually accepted from the waitlist :( Anywho congrats again to those who got accepted!

Thank you, @warsh26! I definitely felt so crushed yesterday and this morning too; the no updates were killing me and even came to terms with just moving on to the next program.

But please don't lose hope! If it helps you, I read on the previous threads that although they do not tell you your ranking on the list, a few of the people got a call back within 2-3 weeks! My portal says that the deadline to reserve the spot is Nov 28. so it might give you an idea of when you should expect to hear back. Hoping for the best for everyone who is waitlisted.

This waiting game is so hard ._________. I should also have applied to the OC campus.

Congrats to the people who got into the OC campus! I've been refreshing this page every couple of hours to see if there's any news from people who applied to the SF campus :nailbiting:

But no news so far seems like it's good news? I'm hoping that they send our results before Thanksgiving.

@naida27 and @helloimkate You guys are almost there!!!!! I think at this point, no news is definitely good news!!! Good luck to all of you :D

@naida27, I don't think they let you apply for both campuses at the same time. You can only have one active application!

Erin got back to me via e-mail. She says my acceptance letter is correct xD. Maybe they just forgot to call me...

I spoke with Erin not too long ago as well, and like you all know already..they are delayed with the SF campus. She said the reviewing committee is still finalizing decisions and they hope to have decisions within "the next week or so" The waiting continues....
