USF Fall 2015 Applicants

Has anyone applied to the USF (University of South Florida) Fall 2015 NP track? I applied for Adult-Gero and haven't heard back yet. My SOAR account says "committee." Just trying to connect with some other USF hopefuls out there!

On a side note, has anyone attended this program and how did you feel about it? Are most of the classes offered after 4-5 pm? Are a lot of classes online?

Any input would be appreciated!

I was also an Alternate. I found out I was Accepted 7/23/15. I'm super excited... truly believe things happen for a reason! Cant wait to meet everyone!!!

Congrats to everybody who got accepted!! I was accepted to the FNP program for Fall 2015 off of the alternate list too...found out 7/22. Is anybody taking Patho on campus on Wed mornings from 9-1? :)

Congrats! Have you all completed all of the paperwork for admission? Background check, health docs, residency dec., quizzes, etc? I haven't yet ordered the background check, but I was able to register for classes without a hold. Anyone know when this needs to be completed by? Does anyone have more information on all of the paper work?

Hi Everyone,

I've completed all the submitted paperwork, if anyone needs help. I orginally signed up for Path on campus, but quickly changed it to online because of a recommendation of past FNP students at USF. After reading ratemyprofessor comments, it looks like patho is gunna be a hard class. Online classes can be accessed after August 21st on Canvas. Textbook requirements can be found online at USF Health bookstore. Cant wait to meet everyone! I live in Orlando if anyone needs to link up for future assignments or questions.

Where you able to find the textbooks? I don't see any listings for the classes yet there.

Usf has 2 bookstores. Google search USF Health bookstore, then click the textbook tab and go from there. U will need the course name and numbers from ur schedule!

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much Desi. This was really helpful. I don't remember them mentioning in orientation there was two different bookstores.
