USF Fall 2015 Applicants

Has anyone applied to the USF (University of South Florida) Fall 2015 NP track? I applied for Adult-Gero and haven't heard back yet. My SOAR account says "committee." Just trying to connect with some other USF hopefuls out there!

On a side note, has anyone attended this program and how did you feel about it? Are most of the classes offered after 4-5 pm? Are a lot of classes online?

Any input would be appreciated!

Hi, I am planning to apply next year for the MSN FNP track..is there GRE req? how many years is this program?

thanks for any info! :)

Good luck ;)

I applied for the Fall 2015 AGACNP Program... Still no word, says "committee."

I applied for the Fall 2015 FNP Program as well. Mine also still says committee. I have a friend who is attending the previous program start and he goes all day on Wednesday every week. Thats all I know. :/

Applepie2013 please refer to health.usf.edu for school information. Everyone else, I applied to the agacnp and still no updates.

I applied to the Fall FNP program and my status still says "applied". They sent out an email stating it can take up to 2 months to get and answer due to computer issues. I remembered I visited their info session in 2008 and they were having issues/program changes, then I visited in 2012 and they were having issues/changes and now I was ready and applied and the issues/changes are still there. I decided to proceed with the acceptance I received from one of the other schools I applied to. Good luck to all who are still waiting on their acceptance letters. I was very disappointed that the trend had not changed over the years...

Still no word here either. This is frustrating because this program is my top choice, however I was accepted into another program and need to let them know of my final decision by 5/1! I have communicated via the discussion on SOAR a few weeks back, but no reply. At this point, I am assuming I am just waiting on a rejection though.

@bostongirl86. Good luck on your decision. I understand the frustration.

Thanks VickyCS 2001. I just found out I got an interview! Regardless, it will be after the deadline of the other program I was accepted into, but I am still going to go for it with USF since it is my top choice. Has anyone else gotten an interview or better yet, been through an interview with USF? Any feedback would be appreciated, as I am now a nervous wreck!

Hi Bostongirl86, I applied for the FNP Track Fall 2015 and my status in SOAR still reads "committee". Congratulations on getting an interview!!! I am hoping for the same. This wait it terrible :nailbiting:

VickyCS 2001 was your application missing any of the items? I don't think it should still say "applied" in SOAR. It should have gone to the committee by now. I would call to double check that all of your documents were received.
